Fidel is an iOS app for learning Amharic. The app is designed to keep core learning activity on your device, including progress, review history, and practice state.
Information We Collect
Fidel does not require an account for the core learning experience. Learning progress and practice data are stored locally on your device. If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and message.
Optional AI Conversation Features
If an AI conversation feature is enabled and you choose to use it, the text you enter may be sent to a third-party AI service provider so the app can generate a response. Do not include sensitive personal information in AI conversation prompts.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate app features you choose to use, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, or protect the app and its users.
Children
Fidel is a general-audience education app. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
